MEET MASON ♥

Mason is a gentle, senior soul with a heart full of love and eyes that tell a story of devotion. After his elderly owner passed away, he was taken in by the compassionate team at Sweet Dreams Senior Pet Sanctuary. He is grateful for the care but overwhelmed by the many animals around him. Sweet and timid, Mason longs for a quieter home where he can feel safe and cherished. He adores soft beds, gentle pets, and simply being near someone who will offer him the comfort and stability he once knew. Mason may take a little time to come out of his shell, but once he does, he’ll be the most loyal companion you could ask for. He deserves a peaceful home where he can spend his golden years surrounded by love.

Many senior pet owners find themselves in the heartbreaking situation of having to give up their homes and move in with family members, to assisted living facilities, or to nursing homes due to their inability to take care of themselves. This frequently involves a senior pet ending up without a home.

These senior pets are often taken to already crowded shelters with very minimal chances of ever being rehomed. Sweet Dreams Senior Pet Sanctuary (SDSPS) will provide a compassionate, loving home/sanctuary for these pets for the remainder of their lives.

SDSPS will ensure proper veterinary care to include preventative medications, vaccinations, and end of life care. SDSPS will also facilitate and oversee permanent foster placements in the community. SDSPS will arrange visitations between the senior pet and their original owner in the assisted living facility or nursing facility if desired, reasonable, and appropriate.
